Every order has a page the customer can open with a link, with no login and no app: what they ordered, what they have paid, what is still owed, the expected ready date and your payment details for the rest. It reads the same record you are working from, so it updates the moment you save and never needs to be re-sent. It shows the customer's own price and never your costs or your margin.
Open the order and choose Share
The page already exists — sharing is choosing how to send the link, not generating anything.
Pick the message the moment calls for
A quote, a deposit request, a production update, a balance request, a ready notice or a receipt. The figures in each are filled from the order.
Send it by WhatsApp, email, or copy the link
Wherever the order started is usually where it should go. The link is the same in all three.
Leave it alone after that
Dates, payments and status all change on the page as you change them on the order. The page you sent in March is still the right page in May.
The link goes out with a message you pick, so a deposit request and a ready-for-collection note do not arrive worded the same way.
The part you cannot discover by clicking, and the reason most of these questions get asked twice.
A view count on the order
The order shows that the page was sent and how many times it has been opened, which is usually enough to know whether a reminder is needed.
The trial, on the first send
Setting up asks for no card. The trial starts at the moment a customer first sees an order page — or on your fourth order, whichever comes first.
Your payment details, from Settings
Bank details or a payment link are written once in Settings and appear on every order page, clickable on the phone the customer is reading it from.
Named here, so you find out now rather than in week two.
No payment is processed
Money moves between you and the customer directly. Ordamo takes no processor fee and there is no payout to wait for.
No login for the customer
Anyone with the link can open it, which is what makes it work in a WhatsApp thread. It carries one order and nothing else about your business.
Nothing is sent automatically
The page updates itself; it does not announce that it has. A delay the customer should hear about is still a message you send.
Can the customer see what the piece cost me?
No. The page carries the agreed price, what has been paid and what is owed. Costs, batches and margin are yours and appear nowhere on it.
Does the link expire?
No. It stays valid for the life of the order, which is the point: the customer keeps one link from the deposit to the delivery instead of a new one at each stage.
What if the ready date moves?
Change it on the order and the page shows the new date immediately. It will not apologise for you, though — a date that has moved is worth a message of your own, and that is a separate job.
