Ordamo imports your store's own export file rather than connecting to the store: download the order file from Shopify, Etsy, WooCommerce or Tiendanube and load it, and the columns map themselves from the header spellings those exports use. Orders, customers, products, expenses and income can each be imported this way, from a store file or from a sheet you keep by hand. Loading the same file again does not create duplicates. There is no API integration and nothing updates by itself afterwards.
Export the file from your store
On Etsy it has to be the “Sold Order Items” file: “Sold Orders” carries no line items, so there is nothing to import from it.
Load it at Settings → Import, or hand it to the assistant
The form and the chat do the same work. The chat is the shorter road when the file is a screenshot or a photograph of something rather than a spreadsheet.

Every column is shown against the field it was matched to, and anything unmatched is offered rather than guessed. This is the step worth reading.

Customers are matched against the ones you have and created where they are new; products are matched against your catalog. Nothing is written until you confirm.

Customers you did not have
A name that does not match an existing customer becomes one, with the phone, email and address the file carried.
Products matched against your catalog
Line items are matched to products you already sell, so an import does not quietly create a second copy of a piece you make every month.
Nothing, the second time
The same file loaded again matches what is already there instead of doubling it, which is what makes a partial import safe to repeat.

No live sync
An import is a moment in time. A new order in your store tomorrow does not appear here; you import again, or you add it.
No API integration
There is no connection to authorise and no store to log into. The file is the interface.
Etsy has no status words
Its export says nothing about production. A “Date Paid” and a “Date Shipped” are read as the facts they are, and the rest of the pipeline is yours to set.
Which file do I export from Etsy?
“Sold Order Items”. It has one row per item with the order repeated on each, which is what an order with line items needs. Its “Buyer” column is an Etsy username rather than a person's name, so the name is read from “Ship Name” instead.
My sheet is my own, not a store export. Will it work?
Yes. The header spellings from the store exports are recognised first, and anything else is matched by what it looks like and shown to you before it is used. A sheet with a customer, a product and a price in it is importable.
Will importing twice duplicate my orders?
No. Rows that match something already imported are recognised rather than added again, so reloading a corrected file is a safe thing to do.
